Awareness development towards systemic issues including climate change, diseases, natural resource depletion, gender inequality has promoted investment trends following ESG criteria or sustainable investment in the region. Recognizing this importance, the Government signed Decision No. 167/QD-TTg approving the "Program to support private business sector in sustainable development period 2024 - 2026".
The program aims to raise awareness of the private business sector on the role and importance of sustainable business. It is also expected to foster and raise awareness of civil servants and public employees in giving advice and supporting sustainable business. They are scheduled to support about 10,000 businesses that plans to develop sustainably.
Before you enter, decide which category suits you best. If you have trouble finding a fit, check out our category descriptions – or we can help you decide. Among the 14 categories, which are grouped under the larger categories E, S, and G, you may apply for a maximum of 6. However, within each of the E, S, or G categories, you can apply for a maximum of 2.
Collect data and documents from relevant departments within your company to fill in the entry form.
All companies will need to provide data related to general operations, which are specified in section A - Business information, and B - Business performance in the entry form. However, in section C - Sustainable Development categories, enterprises only need to select the categories to apply and add documents related to that categories.
Submit your entry via our website from 9a.m, 01 March 2025 to 12p.m, 25 April 2025.
NCDT staffs will compile all the entries, then hand them to our Panel of Judges. The Panel of Judges consists of experts in the fields of sustainability and business. The criteria are scored according to 3 levels: good (3 points), good (2 points), average (1 point). At the same time, NCDT will also launch an online voting channel for readers to vote for the businesses they feel the most deserving in the nomination or candidacy category.
The final result will be a weighted average of scores from the Review Panel and Readers Vote.
In the event that a winner rejects its award, the Organizing Committee reserves the right to confer that award to the next best performing company.
We appreciate all companies that have put in the effort to apply and want to convey their sustainability story to the public. After the evaluation process is over, the outstanding businesses in each category will be honored in the Award ceremony. We look forward to meeting all companies at this ceremony to celebrate the journey towards sustainable development in Vietnam.
